Each style has it's strengths and weaknesses and a truly gifted player will know when to be aggressive and when to make sure they have protection. Interesting analysis though, I am a mix of both sometimes i'm real aggressive sometimes i wait for the opposing team to over play and then kill one of them n go for the score!

Ultimately it doesn't matter how you score as long as you DO

So yeah you kinda forgot about a few styles
One being my personal favorite, the RTDS style.... it takes alot to be stabbed in the face and play it off like it was nothing

I like the article, to some extent, but I really think you would have done better to ask some of last season's Pro League's top runners. Twizzter was a good choice, but I tend to be of the party that thinks that if you want the best, most accurate opinions you should ask the best, most successful runners the game has seen.

Carriers like Spud Head, Scet Shin, NKOTB4evah, and yes, even myself would have surely provided a diverse, expert look at carrying and the role of the runner on the best teams in the league, as told by players who have been in the game and successful for almost every season the league has see.

Which isn't to say it isn't well written. I disagree with some of the commentary, but it's well put together.

Great article.

Pussyfooting is a good defencive tactic, but I think that a Trick Runner is named so because they are supposed to be tricky. One thing this article skimmed over that I think is important, is that a skilled runner needs to know when to go for the launch. It shouldn't be a tanks job to set it up. An on the fly launch from a hammer whiff can win games.

Pussy Footing is a good tactic at times but I hate overuse. In the UKGBWL09 final, 3 teams scored because the other team was pussy footing. I prefer people who use a balanced style of running.
