Well, I somehow managed to get a hold of the Borderlands 1.30 patch notes, but the fact that the new “The Secret Armory of General Knoxx” downloadable content coming out today some how eluded me!
According to GearBox, this DLC is the “biggest one yet.”
The Secret Armory of General Knoxx consists of:
A raise in the level cap to level 61 (They’re turning it up to 11)
A whole new rarity tier of weapons
2 new vehicles
40+ new missions
Approximately 30 new enemy types
And a whole big, new area to explore
Clocking in at 1.66 Gigs, this DLC will run you 800 Microsoft points, which is way more than a bargain for what you are getting.

This DLC’s difficulty level is ridiculous. Also, can anyone answer this question for me…Is there only one fast travel station in the entire DLC or is there more than just the one in the building you initially spawn in? I hope there’s more than one, I didn’t enjoy having to run all over the place in the zombie DLC and I’m hoping that we aren’t going to have to do the same thing in this DLC. I like the new vehicle better than the old one, but so far I haven’t used it much because as soon as I started getting attacked, I jumped out so the enemies wouldn’t blow it up and I would have to walk everywhere. So far, the DLC has been worth every point and I’ve only played it for 10 minutes.
P.S. Watch out for the Meat Popsicle!!!
Yes. I died a ton in the first 30 hour…until I respec’d and got a good weapon load out. If you go in with the right set of weapons and spec, you should tear through it and feel like a bad ass.
I like that though. It has made me think more about my decisions compared to not having to do much thinking about them at all.
Aww man, oh well. What class were you playing as? I’m playing as a soldier and I have been continuously dying at the spot I’m at. I lost like 10 mil in less than 5 minutes.
I lost 36 mill the first time I died. ;) (I play as a Hunter currently)
I keep dying!!!!! I like the Hunter class as well.
