Goose participates in the Amateur League playing for the Ways and Means Committee, one of the more well respected and likable teams in grifball. This season WaMC finished their season in second place of division 1 of the Hammer Conference, right behind division rivals Str8 Griffin.
1. How long have you been involved with the sport of Grifball?
I’ve been playing Grifball since Summer, 2008.
2. What kind of player are you?
I consider myself a tactical player. I much prefer to hang back and evaluate rather than just charge in.
3. If you could change one thing about Grifball or its community, what would that be?
The bitching. RTDS happens, lag happens, unlucky things happen. Just put on your big girl panties and suck it up.
4. Is there a player/team that has inspired your style of play?
Not specifically. I learned to play by getting my ass handed to me and then going back after the game and figuring out what happened. I learned little things here and there from a lot of people, but not one player in particular.
5. Name one player who always gives you fits when you play against them. What makes them so difficult?
Silver Bullet30. I swear he can sword-lunge from one end of the court to the other. He greases his armor, too, so he slides right off your sword or slips by your hammer.
6. Name one player you think is underrated by most. Why?
He wants to maintain a low profile, but I think Nanadel is one of the best out there. He’s the only player that I will literally run away from.
7. Name one player you think is overrated by most. Why?
Kalbelgarion. He thinks an awful lot of himself. The only reason he’s a runner is because he sucks as a tank. Seriously, he’s not as awesome as he pretends to be.
8. Besides Grifball, what other games/sports do you play?
I’ve been into soccer all my life but have also played softball and football. As for gaming, I also like to play Rock Band, Left for Dead and Halo 3 on the 360 and Trauma Center, Phoenix Wright and Guitar Hero on my DS.
9. In your opinion, do stats matter in Grifball?
I think stats can be helpful when trying to make a decision, such as all-star nominations, but stats don’t really reflect the “clutchness” of a player, particularly when it comes to hybrids. They’re a tool, but that’s all.
10. If you could offer words of advice to rookie players, what would they be?
Bring a good attitude to the court. You’ll get more chances to play with different people of different experience if you avoid douchebaggery and more experience means more opportunity to learn and grow as a player.

Anyone else notice that “clutchness” looked like “dutchness”? lol
We all know that the percentage of Dutch heritage is directly related to the amount of Grifball skill a player has.
OMG it’s a girl in Halo :-O
I remember when I > Nanadel. Those were the days…those were the days.
and I <3 you Goose!
@ Puppy – that’s not a girl – it’s a squeaker!
