AJ Cena played this past Winter season with the 9th Wonders. The Nines finished the regular season with a perfect record of 10-0. They made their way to the final four of the playoffs, getting knocked out by eventual champions, Gaming So Hard.
1. How long have you been involved with the sport of Grifball?
I have been playing Grifball since about January 11th 2008, when I started looking for a team for the H3P league with my best friend RJ cena. We both joined Team Midknight Riders
2. What kind of player are you?
I am probably more used as a Tank but I also run if needed.
3. If you could change one thing about Grifball or its community, what would that be?
The maturity. I mean really someone young comes into grifball and tries to fit in and all he does is get personally attacked. It makes people not want to play grifball.
4. Is there a player/team that has inspired your style of play?
Zebra inspired me to play after he kicked me and RJ’s ass in a 1 v 2 game when we both started playing. It made me want to get better.
5. Name one player who always gives you fits when you play against them. What makes them so difficult?
I CITI I is by far the hardest player I ever went 1 v 1 against with both of us not having host. He’s got some good foot working going.
6. Name one player you think is underrated by most. Why?
iwrestle8. Really good tank. Doesn’t get all the credit he deserves.
7. Name one player you think is overrated by most. Why?
Andrew Panton, in my opinion. When i came into the league, all I would hear is “OMG DID YOU HEAR ANDREW PANTON IS GONNA RUN ALL OVER US OMGWTFBBQ!1!” Really he’s not that good. He gets good stif-arms and all, but nothing defensively.
8. Besides Grifball, what other games/sports do you play?
I play Basketball and Football for my school and local leagues.
9. In your opinion, do stats matter in Grifball?
No. If I thought they mattered, do you think I would change my gamertag as much?
10. If you could offer words of advice to rookie players, what would they be?
Don’t talk trash because you beat a legacy team in a scrimmage and/or bum-rushes. Really it makes you look like a jackass and it really doesn’t make you look good. Don’t talk trash to kids in matchmaking. Being a part of the league means you also want to help expand competition and bring new players in from matchmaking. So next double XP if you see a kid that is actually enjoying the game get him in your party and try to introduce him to Rooster Teeth and Grifball.com.

#9-Classic I give it a +1 Zing!
Half of this was completly opposite of AJ. #10 rly!#3 rly!
But it was so sooooooo funny :)
#3 is pretty lolzy – you do understand that this game is rated M for Mature… so “young players” aren’t technically supposed to be playing in the first place!
