The ever diligent and always busy admins of our beloved grifball league have finished up the divisions for both the Amateur and Pro leagues. Schedules have also been set. This means that we are right on schedule to kick off the Summer League tomorrow!
I’m especially looking forward to how things go in the now expanded Pro league, since my team (Bleep Bloop) is a part of it once again this season. There will again be cross division play and there definitely looks to be some pretty darn good games coming up in future weeks.
Amateur League captains can find their schedules here, while temporarily, Pro league captains can find their week 1 schedule here. Adam Pisani is still in the process of inputting the schedule on Grifball.com.
Something of Interest for Team Captains
As I mentioned in my previous article – Observations and Suggestions, I thought it would be an excellent idea to have a mailing list for team captains. After discussing it with league commissioner PP Moocow PP, I received the go ahead to make it happen. Now both the Amateur and Pro league have a mailing list where Moocow can send announcements, reminders and whatever else may be considered important to team captains. I spent most of last night, this morning and this evening putting the lists together.
Don’t Forget Your Highlights!
Though Moocow will most likely be sending weekly reminders to team captains regarding highlights, I thought I’d also mention them. One of the biggest reasons it takes a while for league highlights to arrive is simply because there aren’t enough submitted. If you or a teammate pull off a great play during a game, don’t be afraid to make a clip of it and send it in. You may just find yourself in the next highlight reel. If you’re unsure how to go about submitting highlights, you can find information here in the Grifball.com FAQ.
Have a great week, folks! Let’s try not to have any forfeits, shall we?

Not forfeiting? I plan on forfeiting every game!
On a serious note, we plan on rolling out other helpful resources to amateur players in the near future, so stay tuned!
