This season, I will be going over every single Rookie League game played and will be selecting an MVP for each Division, and also selecting my top 3 Rookies of the week. Doing this will give the Legacy players and chance to see future talent and give these Rookies the opportunity to eventually play with Legacy veterans. Here are my selections for this week:

Division 1
It’s difficult to pick just one player in a division when you have 21 players who have played in the first week of competition. But this player came out swinging in his AGLA debut. N l V E K is the Captain of first year team Just Because. In his first and only game this week, he dominated the field with 106 kills and 75 deaths. He helped lead his team to a 5-4 victory over We Tried. It will be interesting to see if he can keep up this domination in his division.

Division 2

This week’s division 2 MVP stole the title a little differently. AridLeprechaun helped lead his team, Raging Clue, to a terrific 2-0 start with a 9-0 win over the Ultra Sexy Grifball Player Association and a 6-3 victory over 3 Guys, 1 Grif with 9 scores, 59 kills and 52 deaths. With an obvious talented roster, don’t be surprised to see a few more player from Raging Clue in future players of the week.

Division 3

Even though L Virus Detected L and TrueFlyingCow are in their first year, it’s obvious they have bright futures in Grifball. Despite their team, HAMMERZEIT going 1-1 in their first week (might I add both of their games were played 3v4, their team was the team with 3 players) they were able to dominate the playing field – Virus getting 2 scores, 141 kills and 76 deaths and FlyingCow collecting 5 scores, 109 kills and 56 deaths. I decided to give them both MVP for Division 3 this week. Watch for these 2 to help their team make a push for the playoffs and possibly the championship and next season to make the jump to the Legacy League.

Division 6

KaratheFox helped her team, Grifballs to the Wall, to not only their first win of the season, but their first 9-0 of the season by defeating The Flaming Unicorn Rainbows. In her first game, she gathered 5 scores, 25 kills and 17 deaths. This gets her MVP for week 1 of Division 6.

Division 7

RoTTenXxXTY showed up for his first game, helping his team to a 7-2 win over The UPS Guys, while earning himself MVP for Division 7, getting 1 score in while also helping tank his way to MVP status with 47 kills and 28 deaths. A Fun Fact for Division 7, Every game played this week in their Division were played 3v3.
