As a grifball player, I can honestly say when it comes to Halo 3 there’s no time I look forward to more than grifball double XP weekend. It comes once a month and it’s glorious. It’s a time for grifballers to feel like gladiators, laying waste to adversaries that would without question destroy the majority of us in most any other playlist.
That’s right, I’ll be the first admit I suck with a battle rifle. Give me a hammer and sword though and I’m right at home. Dominating generals in grifball is probably the equivalent of how it feels for them to rape my face in the MLG playlist.
Perhaps the best part about double XP is the fun we get to have doing silly things we may not normally do in league games against players who are helpless to defend against our antics. Is it mean? Probably. Is it fun? Oh yes. This weekend I decided to save some clips of my shenanigans and collect a few clips from friends as well to put them together into a little montage called “Pup and Friends”.
In case you’re curious, the music is by Lacuna Coil. The name of the song is “To the Edge”.

We need to do another party of five stars, so I can record a few games while we play and capture all the great trash talk from the opposing teams ;D
@Pup…there’s really no winners or losers. You just drink every time a goal is scored. But yes, it’s been too long since we had a 5 star party. I finally cracked 3k XP, so we could potentially have a 3k party too.
