Grifball League News
With the regular season of both the Amateur and Pro league coming to a close, keep in mind that this week is make-up week. That means if your team has games you’ve yet to play, now is your last chance to get them played! Soon after all games are completed, it will be playoff time. The playoff format for both the Amateur and Pro leagues are set, so hopefully playoffs will go smoothly and without much drama. But really, who am I kidding? There’s always drama in grifball.

In a couple days expect an announcement to be made regarding elections of grifball committee heads for the upcoming Summer league. If you didn’t vote last season, you should consider it this time around. Those who are voted in are the people that will be responsible for the game we love. Let’s make sure we have people in place whom we can trust to make the right decisions.

Matchmaking and Hub News
If you don’t follow the regular weekly updates on Bungie’s site, you may not have heard that this upcoming double XP weekend is Grifball. Oh yes, many a nub will perish once again. I’ll be making my push towards 5,000 XP while those nubs Toktyn, I CITI I and Thurmanator will be left in my wake.

Double XP weekend also means it will be time again for another installment of Pup and Friends. Don’t forget to save film clips of epic or downright lulzy plays. As always, if you’d like to have your clips considered for the montage, please make sure you add a good 10-15 seconds to the beginning of your clip before the highlighted play. This allows for easier editing. You can send your clips to the following gamertags – puptastrophe or Seanzie253. Please DO NOT send the same clips to both tags. Seanzie and I will go through all of the clips received and decide which to include.

You may also send a link to your file clip to us by using the contact form here on the hub. If you decide to do so, make sure you let us know who the player featured in the highlight is.
