Grifball HubCast – Episode 6

hubcast_ep2

Last night Tex and friends conducted the sixth episode of GrifballHub’s wanna-be-weekly podcast. Tex has vowed to actually start doing our podcasts weekly and if he doesn’t, well, I may just fire him. I love the guy, so that’s not going to happen. So yeh, he’s fired.

Anywho, last night’s podcast featured two guests – Jordan aka Menz aka I CITI I and Phoenixrage, well known as the captain of one of the oldest and most respected teams in grifball, Marathon Runners. Phoenix is someone whom I personally learned a lot from when I first started getting into grifball simply by playing against him. I remember the first time he radar killed me thinking, “What the? He wasn’t looking at me!” It wasn’t long after that when I realized, perhaps the radar is your friend.

Menz of course is well known not only as a member of Separate Intelligence, but also for his contributions to grifball as an admin at Grifball.com. Menz handles game disputes and takes care of the Amateur League along with HighlndHellrazr. His voice has also been heard in several league highlight films and he will return again for this Fall’s highlights, when I take over as the highlights guy. We’ll be switching up the format a bit, hopefully enticing more teams to stop being so lazy and submit their highlights.

Topics discussed include the Hub as the grifball league’s new head of events, myself as the new head of highlights, BobbyBirdseed as Head of Amateur Rules, phone sex and much more.

By the way, technically this is the fifth HubCast episode, however the actual fifth HubCast had a lot of technical issues so we decided to not release it. Don’t worry, you didn’t miss any super secret announcements.
