Ever since Reach launched last September, GrifballHub’s Good Games League has had dozens and dozens of new rookie teams sign up for the league. Although the enthusiasm is there, the dedicated follow-through isn’t always. Those who start the season don’t always finish. Sometimes the teams quit after losing a few matches. Sometimes life off the court crops up. Sometimes new teams just need a helping hand.
The next season of the GGL is right around the corner. Signups are scheduled for May 13-20. This season, we want to do more to give rookie teams a helping hand. And we want to use the knowledge, talent, and kindness of the larger Grifball community to make it happen.
We’re starting a new Grifball mentor program to help newbies find their way in the organized Grifball circuit. Both rookie teams (with 2 or fewer seasons of AGLA and/or GGL experience) and experienced teams (with 2 or more seasons of experience) can participate! The rookie teams will receive expert guidance, and legacy teams will be eligible to win prizes!
