Now that Week Five of the Good Games League is in the books, it’s time for our make-up week. This is your team’s chance to play games that have gone unplayed so far this season. If you missed a game against a team in Week One, for example, you can play that game this week, and it will count as if it had been played the first week of February.
You can reschedule for any day this week, but all teams are expected to be available on their regularly assigned day at the normal time to make up missed games. If you’ve been showing up every week this season, send one last message to teams that have not shown and see if they want to play this week.
If you have come to the conclusion that a game isn’t going to be played, however, you can fill out the game report form and claim a forfeit win. Forfeit wins count exactly the same as normal wins, and they will be added to your record. On the schedule page, forfeit wins will be indicated in cyan. instead of the typical yellow-orange.
Finally, when you’re making up your missed games, feel free to go for any Achieveables that were originally offered during that week. Keep in mind that you can only go for an Achieveable if you are playing a game that was scheduled for that week. For example, “Yoink!” was a Week One Achieveable, so you can only complete it during a Week One game.
And if you have any highlights this week, feel free to send them in as usual. If you still have to do the Gambler’s Choice Achieveable, feel free to send in a highlight to get 40 GrifPoints for a missed Hollywood Achieveable (and 150 bonus GrifPoints if you’ve sent in highlights every week of the season).
As always, let us know if you have any questions. Thanks for playing!
