Get to know Mr Pringles24 and his team, Smiley Central.

How did your team come to be?
We were originally Kings of the Ozone headed by gaRz28, but due to teammate anger issues he left to form a new team. The team took the fall season off to regroup and make plans for the Winter league and here we are!

How did you decide on your team name?
Radtastic89 put a smiley face for his emblem then I added the cog for our background and we liked it. Then we needed a name for ourselves. I thought about all those Smiley Central ads that popped up over at ForgeHub and we went with that.

What’s the history of the team? (who you picked up, when and why).
Basically it’s the same roster as KOTO and Fueled By Ramen but we added BombproofSNOOCH as our tank.

Who is on the current roster?
Our current roster is- Mr Pringles24, BryVOOD, Radtastic89, BombproofSNOOCH and G3N3R4LMCMUFFIN.

Which team do you have the most epic matches/fun with?
We liked WaMC, they were an even match up for our team and we had some good lolz.

Which team do you look up to the most?
We would have to say Super Rainbow Sunshine’s players. They are a real good bunch of people and make Grifball fun, and Zero Logic for kicking butt in the Ammy and Pro leagues.

What is the first thing to come to mind when you compare your team currently to when you first started playing together?
So much better than before. Rad has come a long way. BryVOOD and MCMUFFIN were just naturals at it and SNOOCH has picked up on the game quite fast. And I’ve learned from others as well to help our own team.

Is there anything special you do in the off-season to prepare for Week 1?
Sadly we didn’t , but no sweat we got this…..”ALL DAY”

Is there anything special you do before each game (shenanigans, superstitions, ect.)
I make them run a lap,15 t-bags, 10 bonks, and some hawk dives and we’ll go over launches.

What sort of strategies do you use? (i.e., tank heavy, host dependence, launch happy, etc)
We try to tank heavy but we can’t deny launching a spartan 70 yards across a court either.

How do you go about deciding who to put in during each game?
We try to put a player to player match up. Also depending on what team we’re playing but I’ll also try to have equal game play time for each person.

Do you have any shenanigans you do as a team?
We like to say the term “All Day”.. we reference our launches to food such as peanut butter. And we like to scream in our party, lolz.
