Fight for the Final Four

news_hammer

The first round of Amateur Playoffs is over and the fight for a spot of the final four has begun. The only upset in the first round (as determined by seed placement) was Connection Interrupted’s win over Grif Reapers. The teams in the Elite Eight have until Sunday, February 21 to play their games.

There’s already been a bit of controversy this round. Connection Interrupted played Pro Laggerz Tuesday. However, the game was disputed by Pro Laggerz due to game-altering RTDS and the disputes committee ruled in favor of Pro Laggers. The game will be replayed.

The match-ups for this week are:

(6) Hot Bikini Guys vs (3) The Soviet Machine

(2) Behind Enemy Lines vs (10) -1 Indian

(12) Connection Interrupted vs (4) Pro Laggers

(1) Apocalypse Ponies vs (8) Hard Liquor Chasers

    Goose,
I’m glad you didn’t post this yesterday. The disputed game was a hot topic in the forums (and, being a dispute, not surprisingly so).
Hopefully everyone has calmed down about it now and ready to play it again.
The BEL vs -1I match-up looks extremely interesting to me… just based on play styles.
If anyone can send me a linky to the film afterward, I’d love to see that one!

Good luck to everyone in the playoffs.
