Divisional Projections for the Pro League

Pro League Breakdown in Divisional Style with Projected Records:

Division 1: This division contains new Pro team Hammertime, beloved and reformatted Red Ray and last year’s champs who have been renamed Teenage Mutant Ninja Scettles (TMNS).

Hammertime: (Projected Record: 1-9)
A long time amateur team that has made the jump to pro because the well of Pro teams is getting dry. They have stated that they play to have fun. I do not see them being very successful as their team stats are mediocre even for being in the amateur league for so long. The key for their success is Diam0nd playing out of his mind and the team as a whole to stepping up.

Team Red Ray: (Projected Record: 3-7)
Season after season Team Red Ray stays around. They are the definitive spirit of the league. Nokyard moved on to start a new amateur team and left the captaining reins to Paragas. This team has a powerhouse to compete with in their division and will have to play at the top of their games to win out the division.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Scettles: (Projected Record: 9-1, Division winners)
Last season’s champs with a small asterisk to a lot of people. They made a HUGE pick up with Twizzted. Will this mean Captain Scet Shin might be interested in tanking this season? Their only challenges should be I’d Hit That and The Rebels. I see them losing one of those due to focus or being outplayed. But you can bet Twizzted will try to keep them focused on a ‘ship. Oh, and Zeg is a beast.

Division 2: Division 2’s line-up includes newly formed I’d Hit That, a variation of That’s What She Said and another new team The George Foreman Experience.

I’d Hit That: (Projected Record: 9-1, Division winners)

Despite being a newly formed team, you see some SI on here with Citi, Lord Stanely and Adam Pisani. This team boast two upper-echelon tanks in Citi and Lord Stanely and they have my personal favorite runner in Blue Zebra. The question with this team is, can their chemistry help them get a win in the playoffs? It’s a very, very solid team and should easily be in the top 10 at all times.

That’s What She Said: (Projected Record: 5-5)
This is a big question mark team. They have potential to win, but will they? With very little chemistry I don’t see them taking the division from I’D Hit That. They will have some inter-division success though, so keep an eye out for this team.

The George Foerman Experience: (Projected Record: 1-9)
Another question mark team. Can they tank well enough in the Pros to be successful. Statistically they are a decent tanking team. How this translates with chemistry and in the Pro league is yet to be known. If everything goes their way they might be one of those teams that surprises everyone, but I do think they will.

Division 3: Has a very good team in Power Outage, Punching Ghosts, and has Ok, alright…

Power Outage: (Projected Record: 6-4, Division Winners)
Power Outage hopes they can keep the lights on and return to the success they had two season ago. Their line-up is a little lighter and will depend on a newer player in TXMT to help them regain their glory. If he proves to be the beast they hope, expect them to do better than the projected record.

Punching Ghosts: (Projected Record: 6-4, Wild Card)

Punching Ghost just missed out on the playoff last year. Thrumanator and crew hope to contend this year and make it to the playoffs. It is highly dependent on which line-up they throw out for their success. They will have to start their best 4 every game in hopes to take the division win. Watch the race between PO and PG as I have them splitting the season’s series.

Ok, alright. . . (Projected Record: 0-10)
Formally known as TFO, OK has picked up some added fire power in Hi Im Pacman. He will be the key to them winning. They might be able to steal wins from PO and PG due to being over looked but I don’t see them having much success unless it’s outside the division.

Division 4: This is home to the team with the most wins in Grifball history Grunts of Fury, as well as ~Ahooooo!~ and those BKs Green Army.

Grunts of Fury: (Projected Record: 9-1)
No one could fault you for having them preseason champs. If they play their best game every game, and play their best roster, they should not be defeated. Will this off season’s tiff cause tension between them? Or will they leave it behind as they start their tyrannical domination on the court.

~Ahoo00o!~: (Projected Record: 3-7)
A very, very strong team in the amateurs, and a possible contender in the Pros. I don’t see them taking any games from GoF, maybe one from Green Army. They will have success in Div 5 though. Look out for this team to easily be a sleeper team. Will they adjust to the NH and be able to compete in the Pros?

Green Army: (Projected Record: 8-2, Wild Card)
After having great success in their first Pro season, Green Army fell on dismal times with a following season record of 2-8. Green Army had its first ever losing season and missed the Playoffs for the first time. Expect them to be ready and focused as this should be the team’s last season with this collective group. Can Green Team Tex step up to be a productive tank again is the real question for this team? I’m also going to say Nanadel is GA’s savoir.

Division 5: This is probably the weakest division of the league with rebuilt The Galloping Seagulls, freshly moved up Deadly if Eaten and the divisions’ best team ::Zero Logic::
The Galloping Seagulls: (Projected Record: 2-8)
Dr Waffles unfortunately had to make this team due to being kicked off/leaving GoF. I give him credit for his balls to bring back the Seagulls and hope that his season is at least enjoyable. With only 4 players on the roster with sub-par stats, I do not think this team will have a very successful season.

Deadly if Eaten: (Projected Record: 0-10)
Moving up from the amateur is a rough process. Although this team has an impressive Win Loss record, I don’t see them having and of the success in the Pros. My best advice to them is to prove me wrong.

::Zero Logic:: (Projected Record: 5-5, Division Winners)
ZL drew an easy division again and will win this division unless D Waffs can get his crew up and ready fast enough. They should win all their division games and take a couple from the divisions around them.

Division 6: houses the most experienced team in Grifball in <3, and has revamped Irish Mafia with a big ? team in Spawn Bonk !?!

<3: (Projected Record: 10-0, Division Winners)

This team (formerly known as CitHC, BRB Steak) is ready to destroy. Their stats are sickening. Prepare them to wage war on every team in retribution for being removed from the playoffs last season. Any line-up they throw out is top-5 easily. Their only competition should be The Rebels.

Irish Mafia: (Projected Record: 7-3, Wild Card)
Irish Mafia added some major firepower with Highland(betrayal master)razor and one of the top amateur tanks from Strawberry N’ Nipples RonGermany. This team has the potential to do a lot of damage and win a wild card spot. Can Phil Silbaugh adapt to not having host and will they always play their best line-up? Expect to see aerial wonders when Highland and Germany are in the game.

Spawn Bonk !?!: (Projected Record: 1-9)
I know literally nothing about this team. They have k e o o n and Shockwave, and that’s about all I know, the rest of their players little or no stats. Keep a look out on this team but even if they are good, they will not be able to compete with the likes of <3.

Division 7: This is home to AVATAD (formerly +1 Goomba), Harmful if Swallowed and the most ferocious tanking team in the game, The Rebels (formerly GBK).

AVATAD: (Projected Record: 1-9)

This team will depend on Stormwarrning and Lambchop to be positive tanks. I do not see any way they could win the division from The Rebels and it will be very hard for them to get a Wild Card spot.

Harmful If Swallowed: (Projected Record: 5-5)
Every year OneHawk remakes this team. I loved them the first year they signed-up. With PhLaShh and Acniphyde43 they have two pretty decent tanks. If one more tank steps up, this team could have a shot for a playoff wildcard spot.

The Rebels: (Projected Record: 9-1, Division Winners)
What can you say about a tanking line-up that haunts your dreams and makes you wet your pants? If they have all three tanks on in RedBaron, insanhobo and Digital Pain, they will cruise against everyone except TMNS and <3.

Grunts of Fury doesn’t have as many wins as it shows, since that team also possesses SYLaL’s wins and losses, along with… I think +1 Beer’s.

  2. Major Silva says:

    TMXT is Project Snake tbh

  3. stormwarning says:

Ok, so there is no way in Hell we are going 1-9. 6-4 is the worst we’ll do. And there is no chance you’ll go 8-2 either. GL with that, lol.

  4. kev18 says:

Ok we will prove you wrong Goose we go 2-8

  9. ActiveHate says:

As MajorSilva said…TXMT is Project Snake…He has been on the team longer then I have and we did just fine on the court today. If we are predicted to go 6-4 then I want to know who we are going to lose to…lol

  10. Tex says:

by the way you wanted to know your losses? I was half and half but I had picked yall to split PG games. Now that madklown is gone I think you will win both. Also I have you losing to us. But in reality we are the 6-4 team and you are the 8-2 team. I dont think we can beat yall, but on our team I picked with my heart and not my head. Your two other losses are I’D Hit That and GoF. I’d Hit That has the potential to be a top 5 team, the question is will they live up to that potential. I think they will.
