1) Can’t Understand Neanderthal Tone (8.77) [+1]: For the first time this season, a new team is atop the Top 10. CUNT has slowly chipped away at PO’s spot each week and a pair of wins over TFO and THI (their 4th win over a team that has been in the Top 10) have allowed CUNT to overtake the top spot despite only getting 5 first place votes.

2) Power Outage (8.71) [-1]: Out of the top spot for the first time this season, Power Outage saw their lowest percentage of first place votes, only getting 8 of 14. A singular vote ahead of CUNT would have allowed them to keep the number one spot, but instead they have to hope they can get a win over GoF which would likely knock them back into the number one spot.

3) The Quickness (7.2) [--]: The Quickness stands firmly in third place for the second straight week, and barring a loss to either of the top two, it is likely where they will finish. Luckily for tQ, they can make that happen when they get their second shot at PO in the final week of the season. With a win, they have the potential to move as high as the number one spot, while a loss could knock them down to middle group.

4) Grunts of Fury (6.6) [--]: Once again Grunts come out this week atop the middle group at number four. With an upcoming game against Power Outage, they have the chance to prove themselves against a top team and move into the top three after this week. Grunts were this week’s most consistent team with all their votes coming in the range of three to five.

5) GBK (6.57) [+1]: Up one this week and just missing out on the fourth spot, GBK rounds out the top five. With their only loss coming to the number one team, GBK has the potential to move into the top three and potentially even further when you consider they have four games remaining against teams in the top ten. With a couple of wins in those games, watch for them to get more than the one first place vote they got this week.

6) Brb Steak (5.77) [+1]: Also up one, Brb Steak has the inside track on being able to move up should they win out. Having already received a first place vote and multiple second place votes, if they are able to beat two top five teams, they will move up in the rankings faster than Crowing can leave to get a steak.

7) Bleep Bloop (5) [-2]: Down two, and rounding out the middle group is Bleep Bloop. The Bloopians fell this week with their first loss coming at the hands of the Irish Mafia off-host. With upcoming games against GBK and Zero logic, the opportunity is there for BB, although they may not be able to climb higher than five.

8) Zero Logic (2.93) [+2]: Zero Logic has moved up a couple of spots this week after the two teams ahead of them lost a couple of games. Despite being 6-0, ZL is not receiving much respect, but that has the chance to change in the upcoming weeks. Games against Grunts, Bleep Bloop, and their divisional foes will give them a shot to jump ahead or fall completely out of the polls.

9) They Hated It (7.79) [--]: They Hated It stayed steady this week, and make the top ten despite having a losing record. Every game THI has lost has been against a top five team at some point, and they still have to play GBK again. If they pull out the upset, they may be able to make playoffs and move up in the rankings, without the upset, THI will be on the outside looking in on everything.

10) Punching Ghosts (2.5) [-2]: After losing their last two games, PG has fallen to the 10 spot and is in danger of falling completely out with another loss. With easily one of the hardest schedule (8 of 10 games against a top 10 team at some point) if PG is able to make the playoffs, it would be a truly impressive return for this team.

1) Power Outage (9) [--] – Power Outage remains atop the standings this week after getting 14 of 19 possible first place votes. After losing a 3v4, they were given another chance to play the team on neutral host 4v4. Based on the lack of the game being reported, it appears PO has accepted this offer and it will be interesting to see the result of the game.

2) Can’t Understand Neanderthal Tone (7.63) [--] CUNT stays in second this week after a win over Green Army. They beat GBK yesterday on neutral host, so next week’s results may show more first place votes that the 2 they received this week. CUNT seems to be stuck in second, and will be for as long as PO remains undefeated.

3) The Quickness (6.85) [+3] – The Quickness moves up three spots this week after beating Grunts of Fury. With a fairly average schedule otherwise, tQ will need to take down PO if they want to move up in the rankings and establish themselves as the favorites to win the championship.

4) Grunts of Fury (6.61) [-1] – Grunts of Fury only drops a spot this week after losing to number three team, The Quickness. Facing a very similar schedule to tQ the rest of the way, GoF will need their game against PO to show that they can compete with the best of teams. Grunts shouldn’t have any trouble winning their division, but it remains to be seen if they can go far.

5) Bleep Bloop (6.16) [-1] – Bleep Bloop gets overtaken by tQ after their big win. Bleep Bloop gets to play GBK which could be that game that determines whether or not BB becomes the first Pro team to run the table. With a win, watch for BB to jump up in the polls and receive more than the 1 first place vote they got.

6) GBK (5.95) [+3] – The Good, The Bad, The Kirt is up three spots this week, although it may not be for long. After voting took place, they lost their first game to CUNT, and still have to play a tough BB team. If they win, they have a shot to stand still in the standings, but a loss may drop them a lot. 2 people though GBK was the best team, and they could move into the top three before the end of the season.

7) Brb Steak (5.9) [-1] – Down one spot this week, but 1 person still thinks they’re tops. Brb Steak still has four games left against top ten teams, so they have a large opportunity to move up from the final team of the middle cluster, which they currently are.

8) Punching Ghosts (3) [-1] – Currently in the middle of one of the hardest divisions, Punching Ghosts sits behind both teams they beat earlier this season. A disappointing loss to THI and another to TFO caused this team to almost fall out of the top ten, but if they pull another upset against BS or CUNT, they will secure their spot in the ten, and possibly the playoffs.

9) They Hated It (1.82) [+4] – Punching Ghosts joined the list of teams who have hated it this season, and that win bumped THI into the top ten after being left out last week. A tough schedule remains, but with an upset or two they will be a stable force in the top ten.

10) Zero Logic (1.44) [+2] – Zero Logic edges out Green Army for the last spot in the top ten this week. A couple tough games are ahead on their schedule, but if they can overtake GoF or BB watch for this surprising team to continue moving up the polls.

After only a week in the new season, the Top 10 from last week had two teams sitting at 0-2, with another two at 1-1. The top three had a combined 3-3 record while ranks four through nine are sitting at 7-1. How will the Top 10 change this week, it is time to find out.

1) Power Outage (9.92) [--] – After barely edging out Brb Steak last week, Power Outage has a strangle hold on first place after a couple of wins. Receiving 12 of 13 possible first place votes and second in the other puts PO well above the rest of the field. With one of their hardest games coming up against Grunts of Fury, Power Outage has a chance to show the community that their championship was no fluke.

2) Can’t Understand Neanderthal Tone (7.46) [^1] – Despite finishing 1-1 last week, CUNT moves up in this week’s polls, and even received one first place vote. After giving Brb Steak a 8-1 loss, CUNT struggled against Punching Ghosts and lost 5-4. Already defeating WaMC this week, CUNT still has Green Army which is going to be a statement game for both teams.

3) Grunts of Fury (7.42) [^1] – Grunts of Fury won both their games this past week, and were still not able to overtake CUNT in the standings. 5 second place votes show that with a win against Power Outage this upcoming week, GoF can take over the number one position. If they lose however, they may slip into the four or five spot where most voters have them.

4) Bleep Bloop (6.17) [^2] – After winning both of their games in a dominating fashion, Bleep Bloop makes a two spot jump in the polls. The Bloopians are going to have to show voters something during the inter-division play, because they only received one vote in the top two and four in the top three. So long as they win their games this week, expect BB to move up as one of the top three will have to lose a game.

5) The Quickness (5.62) [--] – Losing to the number one team failed to move The Quickness in either direction this week. tQ will look to inter-division play to show that they are a legitimate championship contender as well, and if they are able to pick up a win against a solid Green Army team, they could very easily move up.

6) Brb Steak (5.83) [v4] – One person thinks they are number one, another two think they aren’t even top ten. Brb Steak is about as all over the rankings as possible after a disappointing 0-2 start including a loss to an unranked team. If they can right the ship in a tough inter-divisional schedule, BS has a shot as moving up the rankings and possibly returning to the top three.

7) Punching Ghosts(4.46) [^5] – Punching Ghosts is this week’s biggest mover after beating two of last week’s top three. Despite that fact, the Ghosts are still behind both the teams they beat, and were 2-0 at the time of voting. It will be interesting to see their movement since they lost to an unranked team after voting took place, but if they are to win against a couple more top teams, PG could march towards the top five.

8) Green Army (4.23) [^1] – Green Army has yet to play an official game after agreeing to replay their 9-0 trouncing of TFO. Green Army has the potential to skyrocket up the rankings after they play two of the top six teams this week. Even if they split the games, watch out for them to jump up, especially after Punching Ghost’s loss to an unranked team.

9) TGTBTKirt (2.71) [v2] – After a 2-0 start and a record breaking performance, GBK has fallen two spots in the rankings. A matchup against Brb Steak could be big for both teams as Brb tries to get their first win, and a win for GBK could move them far up the top ten and give them the respect that they deserve.

10) Separate Intelligence (2.36) [v2] – SI still hasn’t played a game this season, but that didn’t stop them from making the top ten. With games against BS, PO, and GA during the first two weeks, SI has a chance to either make or break their season, and top ten ranking, from the beginning.

LEGEND: Rank) Team (Average Score) [Change from last week]

The pro league top 10 returns for the fall league, once again with Zeg at the reigns. Each week based on community votes, Zeg will compile the numbers are present a new top 10. This list depends very much on your votes.

To keep track of when voting will occur each week, consider following the Fall league top 10 thread on Rooster Teeth.

If just one person from each pro league team votes, that would be enough votes for Zeg to properly present the polls to you each week.

Power Outage (9) – Power Outage is finally given the respect that they deserve, and all it took was winning a championship. The loss of Jlamanna could hurt PO a good deal, but 14 of 25 voters still think that they are worthy of the number one spot in the pre-season poll. Whether or not they can continue on last season’s hot finish remains to be seen and Power Outage will look to prove that they weren’t just a fluke.

Brb Steak (8.96) – Despite nearly half as many first place votes as Power Outage (8) the ex-Cats in Hats came mere decimal points away from taking number one in the first poll this season. After a disappointing loss in the championship last season, the Cats aim to rebound and win a championship. Instead of bringing in a tank to replace TnT Bioshocker, they brought in Spud Head and it will be interesting to see how that pays off.

CUNT (7.83) – This seemingly random group of players is looking as if they could be a legitimate contender if things turn out right. With potentially the most depth out of any team, line up chemistry could become an issue, but if they are able to get things rolling they are capable of being the number one team which two people already think they are.

Grunts of Fury (6.68) – In their worst season the Grunts made it to the final four. This season they are flying under the radar a little as they have reunited and are looking to return to their glory days. Although only receiving one first place vote they were able to edge out the fifth placed team by finishing in the top five in all but two votes.

The Quickness (6.64) – Youngnastyman out, TnT in. That is the story of the team formally known as +1 Zing. If TnT and Co. can blend well, the Quickness has a chance to be one of the top teams in the league and a championship contender. Even if they never develop great chemistry, tQ will remain a fixture on the Top 10 throughout the season.

Bleep Bloop (4.54) – A couple of additions could swing Bleep Bloop either into the elite tier, or continue their pattern of disappointing finishes. Dragon of Exile and Anubis could turn out to be great pickups for these guys as they already have developed good chemistry. Bleep Bloop is coming into this season with low expectations, and it may be just what they need as motivation to surprise people.

TGTBTKirt (4) – With their host pulling runner gone for the Amateur League, it will be interesting to see how the team which used to be DWtR will respond. Despite winning the hardest division last season, GBK comes into this season ranked quite low in the polls, and closes out the middle tier of the Top 10.

Separate Intelligence (2.75) – SI has come a long way after making back to back championships just a few seasons ago. The loss of a couple key players hurt them last season as they had one of their worst records, and now they have lost two more key players in Spud Head and Bynumator. The addition of Viceraz may fill the role of tank which was left vacant, but the question remains whether or not Adam can be the primary carrier he once was and who will carry when he is unable to make games.

Green Army (2.68) – Having never achieved amazing success in Amateur League, Green Army came out of nowhere and shocked the league finishing 8-2 and making playoffs. This season they have picked up Frost Hawk from Crayola Magic and they look to improve on their Pro debut, although this time no one will underestimate them.

Super Rainbow Squad (1.24) – A combination of Who Crashed the Banshee and TWSS close out the Top 10 this week. If they are able to blend together well, they could become a real underdog perhaps pulling an upset against Bleep Bloop or Grunts. Look for SRS to go nowhere but up.

With the absence of an Amateur League Top 10 this season, iStormwarning of Crayola Magic has decided to chime with his opinion of who he feels the top ten Amateur teams are.

1. Team Black (5-0)
Only being scored on twice, and them being from the same team, they are looking at being the number 1 seed going into the playoffs. With easily the most experienced lineup in Amateur, they are the team to beat. There isn’t much to say other than no team in Amateur has proven they can measure up to this team.

2. Collateral Damage (5-0)
With a strong playoff lineup from last season, TFOmen cleaned out the non-essentials in the roster and added solid players that will only help them. Neomalkin is one of the best runners in Amateur League, and any time he gets the ball there is a scoring threat. With an impressive 5-0 record with one forfeit win, look for them to make it deep into the playoffs, anything less than the Elite 8 would be a let down.

3. Zero Logic (2-0)
With a team that was solid last season and their only loss being in the playoffs, they did very well in Spring League. With the addition of blue collar kid, they have a dangerous line-up. They would be in the top 2 if it wasn’t for them only playing 2 games. Look for them to easily take their division and make a solid playoff run.

4. The Kingo Experience featuring AJ Cena (5-1)
This is a new team made up of some experienced players and some new kids to the game. Between Kingo, WTP Greenthumb, and AJ Cena, they have quite a bit of league experience and a tough roster to beat. With some fairly new players on the team learning from these experienced players, they have promise this season, and even more if they stay together. Keep your eye on this team, and look for them to get a few tough wins divisionally, and take their division.

5. Operation Infinite Walrus (8-0)
They may be 8-0, but they only have 5 games played. With a close game early on in the season against 5hort Bu5, they have since rallied and swept every game they’ve played. With a lineup of all-around good players, they have a chance to turn some heads and maybe upset some teams later in the playoffs.

6. OpFor (2-1)
Having some scheduling problems and having to play 3v4 has hurt this team greatly, but with their best lineup, they are easily one of the best teams in the Amateur League. The fact that they only have 4 players has made their games played much lower than any other team on this list, and is what kept them out of the top 5. If they can get it together or maybe pick up a few more solid players, they will definitely go far. Maybe if they get more than 3 games played, they will move up on this list.

7. Harmful if Swallowed (6-0)
With the most wins from games played on this list, they have a very impressive lineup. With their rookie season seeing them go deep into the playoffs, they obviously had promise coming in. But the loss of some players, one of which was a starter, set them back. With some key additions and great play from returning members, the only thing keeping them out of the top 5 is their easy schedule so far. I see them making it to the Elite 8 easily, most likely the Final 4, and look for them to upset some teams who overlook how strong their lineup is. FreedomEagle is one of the best tanks in Ammy, and he is a pivotal player for HiS.

8. Kings of the Ozone (5-1)
A reformation of a previously impressive team, plus some new blood, this team is looking good for summer league. This is my sleeper pick. They have a host puller in Radtastic, all connect well to him, and clutch players. Look for them to pull out some upsets.

9. Warhammers V2 (5-0)
This is a team with some solid players, and a team with chemistry. With a good record and plenty of time playing together, they are an all around talented team who will do well this season and in the playoffs.

10. The Ways and Means Committee (5-2)
With a win over, and a loss to KOTO, also on this list, they can win games. The only thing stopping them from being higher on this list is the fact that they have 2 losses. With Kalbelgarion and Goosechecka possibly getting dual host, and their great chemistry, and of course their previous success in the league, they are obviously a viable threat to any team on this list.

Other Teams deserving mention:
Strawberries n’ Nipples, Taste the Rainbow, Happy Sumo in Yo Jazz Hole, Inglorious Basterds, Team Crayola Conspiracy, and Who Crashed the Banshee? All of these teams have a good chance at ending up on this list, or beating any of these teams in the playoffs.

Zeg returns with his very excellent Top 10 rankings for the Grifball Pro League. We will do our best to present each edition of the Top 10 to you early each week. If you’d like to be informed the moment the rankings are released each week, consider following the Hub on Twitter!

With no statistics to base predictions on, voters didn’t have anything to base picks off of outside of knowledge and experience. Who will be the favorite going into this new season? It’s time to find out in another season of the Weekly Top 10.

Shut Your Lips and Learn [ (3) 9.28 ] – The defending champions got stronger over the off season, picking up Zeg, Moocow, and the ever famous Gabazingi. The question now becomes, how will chemistry change with the new players? If all works out, you can expect another deep playoff run for Shadow and company

+1 Zing [ 8.125 ] – Of the many teams who received first place votes, +1 Zing was not one of them, yet they took in enough second and third place votes in order to pull in the number two spot in this week’s polls. If this group can get a couple big wins, expect a lot of first place votes in upcoming weeks.

Cat in the Hat Crew [ (3) 8 ] – Cat in the Hat Crew is back this season and better than ever. With the combination of Thumee and Doc along with the additions of TnT BioShocker, AllegedHornet and T Rich Da King, the Cats should be able to improve on their third place finish and possibly take over the number one spot.

Power Outage [ (2) 5.77 ] – The return of teams was the theme over this past season, and Power Outage was no exception, this time without TnT BioShocker. Although in a tough division with some difficult interdivision play, Power Outage is expected to do well and make the playoffs. Whether or not they can overcome SYLaL to win the division remains to be seen.

Separate Intelligence [ (1) 5.77 ] – Although tied in average points, Power Outage got the edge in first place points, leaving SI to round out the top five. With some major changes this off season, watch for SI to take some time to get used to each other’s play styles. Once they achieve chemistry, they should be able to make their move up the rankings.

Bleep Bloop [ 5.66 ] – Also a team which underwent some changes, Bleep Bloop looks to go far this season and make up for missing the playoffs in last season’s Pro League. The addition of Blade will add some deep playoff experience as well as solid all around play to an already solid lineup. Bleep Bloop has potential, and depending how well Blade meshes with them, will succeed this season.

CAG [ 5.44 ] – The launch happy CAG is back with only one change, Rockys12 from little CAG is up to play in the big leagues. CAG always is a bit of a surprise with their unconventional play style, but if they are able to get their launches to land on the goal they will do quite well.

Crayola Magic [ 3.88 ] – Crayola Magic is back after sneaking into the Pro League playoffs last season. They aim to go further into playoffs this season while maintaining the same core which was with them from last season. With Ryker back and playing more often, watch for Crayola to make a bit of a push if they can get on a roll.

Dude, Where’s the Runner? [ 3 ] – With some changes to their roster, DWtR looks to get some much needed improvement from last season’s League. If they are able to recapture the magic from Winter League, the ex Noobs may be able to turn into this year’s sleeper team come playoff time.

Galloping Seagulls [ 1 ] – The defending Amateur League champions joined the Pro League this season, although they lost Major Silva and Doerstopper. With the addition of Laggerz and Amerijap and Omaha filling in the final spot, Galloping Seagulls has the skills to move up in the polls from the ten spot.

So as you may have noticed, Zeg failed to grace us this week with another installment of his excellent Top 10 series. On top of that it seems lately grifball drama has been at a nearly all-time high, so what better way to remedy both things than with a little humor?

Thanks to iHoncho316 of Strawberries n’ Nipples, we now have ten great warning signs that perhaps we’re playing a smidge too much grifball. I don’t know about you, but I may be guilty of committing at least a couple things on this list.

#10 – Walking down the street you come up to a puddle, instead of simply going around it, you pull off a spectacular 360 degree wall jump off the curb over it.

#9 – At the grocery store you charge forward into a busy check out lane hoping to lag your way through to the front of the line.

#8 – Your girlfriend playfully tries to sneak up behind you and you instinctively spin around and stiff-arm her in the face.

#7 – Every time you watch football and there’s a 4th and goal at the 1 yard line you start screaming “LAUNCH!! LOOK OUT FOR THE LAUNCH!!”

#6 – League admins no longer reply to your emails after getting tired of your countless attempts to dispute recent Monopoly games you’ve lost, citing that all the other players had unfair “host-dice” advantage.

#5 – You excuse yourself from the dinner table to use the washroom, telling everyone that you have to go “plant the bomb”.

#4 – After your fifth failed job interview you’re getting fed-up with trying to explain to those ignorant recruiters why “hybrid” is listed on your resume as an additional skill and how it would be beneficial for them to hire one.

#3 – You apologize to your girlfriend reassuring her that what just happened was merely a network test and the real luvin’ is about to commence…after you take a quick nap.

#2 – Every time you find yourself walking behind someone wearing an orange shirt you have an irresistible urge to bonk them in the back of the head.

#1 – You wrote this list.

Hybrids are those which are considered all-around players. Very few hybrids ever will truly be all-around great, due to it being hard to become great in two different areas. While most hybrids specialize in one area, these players are as balanced as they come.

His -3 is off because of his running days, since in the past 2 leagues he has developed his hammer and has become a true hybrid.

He can be your hero baby, he can take away your pain. Halo Hero, LBCountry, Adam Pisani, or however you know him has been a solid runner in the league for quite some time. Although not playing as much as he once did, Adam averages the most goals per game of all the other runners on this list, averaging 5.1 per game. Adam may be the most conservative runner in the league, but he gets the job done.

4.6 goals per game on solid teams is no easy achievement, especially when splitting carries with another runner on the list. Fran was knocked down a bit due to having the worst k/d per game out of almost everyone on this list at over -11 per game, potentially hurting his team on defense.

Racking up 109 goals in 25 games (4.36 per game) and only averaging -2 per game (best k/d of all runners on the list) clinches JayAhre a spot in the Top ten.
